Will soon be completing a new pattern for these new wall hangings.  Will be for sure ready by local shop in Wichita area, Oct 2-3-4th.

Am reminded of an old hymn I grew up with-helped me name the pattern:

“THE WONDEROUS CROSS”

Praying for peace in remembrance of 9/11.

QUICK BABY QUILT, AND A LOOK TOWARDS SPRING………….

15 Nov

P-SPRING 2

        SPRING 2   (spring squared)

You might  recognize this block as #744 in QUILTMAKERS VOL 8.

This quick project is 22″x22″, and is a “mini-pattern”.

At some point when the muse strikes, there will be a larger quilt project made with this block.

Very easy applique for beginners, or anyone.

4P 2

         4-PATCH SLIDER

This 44″x60″ is an optimum use of a novelty print, and large enough to go from “baby” to “toddler” quilt.    It’s also a “mini-pattern”.

Pattern includes instructions for scrappy 4-patches, or 2-color layout.

JUBILEE inspiration in Florida

31 Jan

Wanda's Jubilee

One of my quilt bee buddies “flew south”.  Wanda made this lovely version of my JUBILEE pattern.  Rumor has it the local quilt shop is planning a class.    Wanda is so very talented, and is inspiring Florida with her projects.   You go girl!
