2012 GALAXY X and QUILTMAKER 100 BLOCKS VOL 5

WELCOME TO ALL on behalf of myself and QUILTMAKER.    I’m honored to share “GALAXY X” with the Quiltmaker 100 Blocks Vol 5, and with all of you.     Below is one version of a “GALAXY X”  quilt, with the block as is.   Use your imagination with other blocks, or sashing for more great patchwork.

My fulltime job has kept me off the radar for about a year, and I’m so thrilled to be back and sharing new patchwork with you!

    A North Carolina Good Morning to you!
    Happy to see your Galaxy X, this has my mind spinning towards Christmas! The square reminds me of poinsettia adding some lush dark greens and this just might be my new Chritsmas quilt….that is….if I get the 10 other quilts ufo’s completed…. 🙂

    I live in southeast TN and your dogs staring out the back window look like my dog and cat. They just stare out the back window watching the squirrels and birds and getting very upset that they can’t go chase them.

    Rachell R. in Utah! Beautiful smaller country community at the south end of a busy valley, but close to everything. I’m practically in the foothills, and canyon winds blow at my house every evening!
    This is a very fun block, and I love the secondary designs it creates by setting it side by side. Color combinations seem endless!
    BTW, I did like the Flower Box pattern in the May/June issue. Thanks for an opportunity to win!

    I’m a dog lover from Cenla – central Louisiana, very close to the Texas line! I’m a dog lover. We have 6 dogs. 5 are mine, 1 is my daughter’s (my granddog!). Of my 5 dogs, we adopted one as a puppy, the rest were throwaways/dump-offs/lost dogs. Yes, I live in the country. I don’t understand people who dump animals, They threw away some perfectly good dogs!
