HELLO QUILTMAKER 100 BLOCK TOURISTS!

7 Nov

MAYWOOD BLOSSOM – my contribution to this wonderful Vol 2 of  QUILTMAKER 100 BLOCKS  issue.  What fun!  I so enjoy designing applique with easy lines, and sometimes with a twist.  I have a full-time job besides this great adventure of designing, so I’m big on do-able projects.  I’ve worked about 6-7 yrs.  for a quilt shop, and taught many students in sampler classes.  I still have students of mine visiting with me at Prairie Quilt Guild meetings.   They are still quilting and loving it – does my heart so good!   And what an opportunity in Quiltmaker’s magazine to have a whole world of sampler blocks available to you!

October was extremely busy – I designed several new patterns for local quilt shops for the shop hop event.  Then preparing for Houston after that.  At Houston, I enjoyed meeting June and some staff of QUILTMAKER.  I’m making up some lost time with hubby, and the three dogs.  Am anxious to get to the drawing board with another block idea bouncing around in my head for a future issue of 100 more blocks!

Be sure to check out previous blogs about new friends from England, and Halloween at Houston market.

Please return to my website in the near future to see the new patterns I took to Houston market, or contact me  – I would love to share them with you asap!

Post a comment on this blog during the blog tour Nov. 8-12, and be eligible to win your very own copy of Quiltmaker 100 Blocks Volume 2  !!!

JOYFUL STITCHING  TO ALL!
